![]() ![]() ![]() I’m happy with being able to perform “Rising Uppercut” and the Mist Step, but it must be noted that EWGF is just infinitely superior.ĮWGF starts up 2F faster than Rising Uppercut, launches them higher on hit, less recovery, doesn’t use up any juggle potential and deals more damage. Or in short… probably the best move ever. Kazuya performing the Electric Wind God Fist. Note that this Mist-Step will be beaten clean by low pokes, similar to Dudley’s duck special in SSF4 and Third Strike. Eitherway, mastering this dash is core to Kazuya’s offense and dealing with projectiles and high pokes. Getting in a game situation is a different story too. I had to practice this for ages, and even then, I’m not doing the actual input. I wish I could be slightly more thorough about the execution of this, but its more to do with player familiarity with the input than anything. I will always get the dash when I’m performing it this way. I find that I will do something similar to before with F-HCF motion but I will end on DF. Ensure that you are consciously ending the input on Down-Forward. Practice the dash using literally the motion itself (F, N, D, DF) this will be much easier on a stick. This is because I couldn’t for the life of me reliably end on Down forward on a pad because the direction in this game is ambiguous. This isn’t a horrific idea, but its not ideal. I used to try and do this motion on an motion like this: When I do this motion, it is likely that I’m gonna get either Demon God Fist, or Cr.MP. We’ll touch on execution and stuff first because this is like, vital to make Kazuya safe when approaching. The motion itself (Forward, Neutral, Down, Down Forward) is already unfamiliar so this makes it a pain for me to depart from quarter circles and the like… especially when I feel I need to play this game on stick (unfamiliar input device). Its a bitch, and I usually try to plink it to get it to happen at all. I can do the move itself, to be honest, infrequently. The normal version is fair game, but the EWGF requires frame perfect timing. It is bloody difficult to do to start with. ![]() The basis of his pressure seems to be Electric Wind God Fist. Not excessive range on his normals, and lacks a projectile, but he more than makes up for it in solo damage potential and safe offensive pressure. In this game, Kazuya seems to be the whole pretty godlike at everything kinda role. “How interesting, I’ll happily take you on…” ![]()
